Calling all Workers
This bright march was composed by Eric Coates at the urging of his wife in the early 1940s. She was a nurse serving at home in England during the Second World War and suggested Eric write a piece of music to recognize the many volunteers and workers supporting the war effort at home. The result was this march which was specially arranged for Manotick Brass by Lloyd Hiscock for the trip to Jersey. This is a live recording from the concert at St. Helier Parish Church in September 2012.
