This new programme celebrates the Rideau Waterway which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. The programme uses melodies from our Rideau Reflections CD to trace the history and highlight the moods and events on the waterway today. A schools version is available with a slide presentation to add visual impact.

A 1 hour program featuring many of the arrangements on the first CD recorded by the Manotick Brass Ensemble.  The CD is titled “Reflections in Brass” and provides a cross section of the ensemble’s current repertoire.  Reflections in Brass takes the listener on a journey to revisit many of the milestones along life’s way.  This program is very popular with the more senior audiences.

An education program aimed at sparking an interest in brass music with students at all levels.  The program is light hearted and includes music familiar to most young people.  The Brass Ensemble introduces humour in many of the selections and provides opportunities for student participation.   This program can be tailored to the needs of each school and can be coupled with a coaching workshop for the brass section of the school band.

An upbeat program of swing and jazz arrangements of Gospel songs and Hymns.  This program provides an uplifting worship experience for any Church congregation.  The program includes 3 sets of songs lasting 10 to 15 minutes each for use either before or during the service.  Regular arrangements of Hymns for congregational singing can also be provided.  We have over 250 Hymn arrangements.

A special 1 hour program in honour of our veterans presented during Remembrance Week in November.  The first part of the program is contemplative and includes arrangements of The Navy Hymn, Abide With Me, Jerusalem and The Soldier’s Return.  The second part of the program focuses on songs popular during the period of the two World Wars.  The program also includes military marches and concludes with “Land of Hope and Glory”.

Our repertoire of Christmas music is extensive and we are able to tailor a Christmas concert to suit any need.  This can include carol arrangements for audience singing, with or without organ accompaniment.  Contact us to make your Christmas Celebration different this year.

Our wedding program includes 20 to 30 minutes of music while the wedding guests are being seated.  We have an extensive repertoire of music for use during the ceremony including the traditional wedding marches.  We can offer either traditional music or more contemporary love songs.
