On December 6, 2015 Watson’s Mill in Manotick’s Heritage Square was standing room only for the annual traditional “Carols at Sunset” led by the Manotick Brass Ensemble. For some forty five minutes the audience sang along to a selection of Christmas Carols and songs. There was something for all ages and the children present were invited to join in with a variety of bells for the very popular “Jingle Bells”. This annual event is eagerly awaited in the Manotick area and many local residents look forward to this chance to get together with neighbours for a traditional carol sing-a-long accompanied by the sound of brass. This year attendance exceed all expectations with over 150 in the audience. The staff at Watson’s Mill kept everyone warm by serving delicious hot chocolate. We all look forward to next year!
